Rosemary hair rinse is a natural remedy that can help promote healthy hair and scalp. Here's a simple DIY hair rinse recipe with rosemary, along with measurements for ingredients:
Rosemary Hair Rinse:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons dried rosemary (or 1/4 cup fresh rosemary)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional, for extra shine)
- 5 drops Comfort Street Essentials rosemary essential oil (optional, for a stronger fragrance)
Instructions:
1. Boil 2 cups of water.
2. Add the dried or fresh rosemary to the boiling water.
3. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes to allow the rosemary to infuse into the water.
4. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool to a warm or room temperature.
5. Strain the liquid to remove the rosemary leaves, leaving you with the rosemary-infused water.
6. If you're using apple cider vinegar, add it to the rosemary-infused water and stir well.
7. If you're using rosemary essential oil, add it to the mixture and stir again.
8. Transfer the rosemary hair rinse to a clean bottle or container.
How to Use:
1. Shampoo your hair as usual.
2. Pour the rosemary hair rinse over your hair, ensuring it covers your scalp and hair thoroughly.
3. Massage your scalp for a few minutes to promote circulation and distribute the rinse.
4. Leave the rosemary hair rinse on your hair for 5-10 minutes.
5. Rinse your hair thoroughly with water.
Note: You can use this rosemary hair rinse once or twice a week as part of your hair care routine. Rosemary is believed to stimulate hair growth, strengthen hair, and improve scalp health. If you have specific hair concerns or conditions, it's always a good idea to consult with a hair care professional. Additionally, perform a patch test before using essential oils to ensure you don't have any adverse reactions.
